power window switch not working

Remove the door panel to access the power window motor. If they appear to be in good condition, test the power wire to make sure that it's receiving power. If not, proceed to Step 6. If yes, then try taking a pair of jumper wires and jumping the circuit. The motor should at least try to move the window.
Here it is: Press and hold the window-down switch until the window is all the way down + 10 seconds. Then do the same thing in the 'up' direction. Then power-cycle the car and try the auto open/close again. If it doesn't work the first time, people said to repeat the process.

08 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 TRD Offroad. Raylo said: ↑. Make sure to check the child window lockout button on the driver's side wasn't pressed by accident. Happened to me once and took me a bit to figure out. I know this is an older thread, but I figured I would thank you anyways. My passenger side window stopped working.
Start your Corolla. Close all windows and doors. Open the window by pressing and holding the window control switch. When the window is fully open, keep the switch pressed for a few seconds. Release the switch, then press it again and hold it for a few seconds. Close the window by lifting and holding the window control switch.

Here's what's going on. I have a 2016 Chrysler 200C. Upon initial start up, you can roll the driver side power window down, then back up. But only once, then it will not work at all. No click, no nothing. Passenger window will work twice in a row, down, then up, then quits working as well. Both rear windows work fine no issue.
